I 485 (Change of Status)

She helped me out to get my case approved despite my case was complicated. On top of that, she is very responsive and being always available to respond your questions.

Withdrawl of application for Admission 212(a)7(a)(i)(1)

I consulted my case (Heather analyzed all paperwork & provided best advice (found out that she was correct the next day @ the border). Whole withdrawal application paperwork had some concerning details of either getting a Visa (Canadians do not need a US visa unless a criminal background is identifie...d) or a waiver (which would have taken months & especially in current pandemic time, when consulates are shutdown). She did not scare me on those details & guided me the right path to help me reunite with my family (no waiver was required at all). Great dedication & prompt response let me believe in her & would definitely recommend her.

She Never Gave Up

I’m ashamed it took me two years to write this review for Heather, but life happened. My husband found Heather online for me because she seemed the most empathetic and sincere out of the entire list he was digging through. When I first met her, she was not pretentious or intimidating. You can tell sh...e is herself. No facades. My case was very unique and very difficult to overcome but Heather never showed an ounce of defeat even when, I myself was starting to give up hope. I have been trying to become a permanent resident since I entered the country 20+ years ago, and heather managed to help me become a permanent resident within months. My case was not a black and white case, there was a lot of gray area and a lot of missing pieces that could not be filled by myself or anyone for that matter. Heather never let me give up even when I decided to give up on myself several times. She is so hard working and dedicated to the end result. She is brave, hopeful, and will exhaust every option to make sure she is serving her client’s needs. There were days that I sat in her office and asked her the same question in 8 different ways, and without showing any frustration, she thoroughly answered every question thoroughly. Her prices are also beyond reasonable and her accounting team is willing to work with you on payment plans. She will never know how impactful her role in my life will continue to be, but I strongly recommend her as an immigration lawyer to all of my family and friends.

Successful I-601, Application for Waiver of Grounds of Inadmissibility (Extreme Hardship)

Long story short my spouse is US citizen we married 2 years ago and I applied by myself to change of status (i130, i485 and i765). Got my work permit and SSN then an interview was scheduled. I did a mistake in the interview the first time, so they sent me another call for an interview and guess wha...t! I did the same mistake again! 1 month later I received a letter that I'll not be able to change my status and I have to apply for I-601 Waiver and if it got approved the USCIS will process my Change of Status. That was the worst thing ever happened to me since I moved in here, because as far as I know if the waiver got denied It can take up to 2 years after you appeal for a judge to look at your case. I wasn't ready for that! and most probably I was not gonna be able to renew my work permit or driving license. I'm not trying to be extreme but we both lived the worst 4 months ever! Everything we built together can fade out at anytime, my wife was not ready to leave her kids and leave the country and I was not going to leave my wife behind under any circumstances and also leave her with loans and bill all alone! I called few lawyers for consulting, I met couple until I spoke to Ms. Garvock. She seemed pretty confident dealing with waivers unlike other lawyers who scared me and told me how my life can be worse if it got denied and no one was sure that he can guarantee the result. Of course no one can guarantee the result but speaking with somebody who is at least confident and telling me exactly "Don't worry I'll get you your green card" made me so confident hiring her! The waiver was supposed to be sent within 30 days, I already waisted 2 weeks before I met Ms. Garvock, We met 3 times only. First time she listened carefully to everything, she reviewed all the letters I received from USCIS and she gave us a checklist of required supportive documents. Second time was 1 week later to review everything we sent her. She prepared a really strong case (Hundreds of pages!) and 3 months later I received my approval notice and 2 weeks later I got my Green Card Finally! Third time we met to thank her for everything she did to successfully get me my card! I really recommend Ms. Garvock and wishing everyone good luck :)

Great job!

After several years of applying for documentation, and attending interviews without result and my wife in jeopardy of deportation, we engaged Heather to appeal our case. She gave very clear instructions regarding evidence we needed to submit. Within a few short months the entire issue was favorably r...esolved with Permanent Resident status, and at very reasonable cost. I cannot thank her enough for the excellent, professional service she provided. Great job
