David Blanchard has served as president of the Michigan Employment Lawyers Association and of the Washtenaw Association for Justice. He currently serves on the executive board of the Michigan Association for Justice. He has presented as faculty to the State Bar of Michigan Labor and Employment Section and the National Employment Lawyers Association.
David Blanchard received his B.A. in political science in 1996 and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 2003. Before law, Blanchard worked as a broadcast journalist, covering local politics and environmental issues in Michigan. Blanchard grew up in Ann Arbor, graduated Community High School in 1992, and has been practicing law in Ann Arbor since 2004.
