William C. Amadeo

I came in to Judge Catherine Heise’s courtroom for an unrelated matter and watch the last day of the Eric Coleman trial. I didn’t know who this lawyer was that was running around the courtroom. I would soon learn that his name was William Amadeo. William gave the most powerful closing that I have ...ever seen in 25 years of law enforcement. As a police officer, it is difficult for me to like a criminal defense lawyer but what I saw that day definitely made me rethink things. I asked William for his business card and while I didn’t know the facts of the case I was very happy when Mr. Coleman was found not guilty. Recently, I had a question about an issue of law and I called William’s personal cell number He answered by question and spent 20 minutes on the phone with me to make sure that I understood everything. I asked what I owed him for his time and he did not charge me for the consultation and told me how I did not need to spend money on legal fees for the issue that I had. I have never met an attorney that put my needs before themselves but that is who Bill Amadeo is.
