I hired Fishman Stewart in 2024 to handle a trademark for my business, You're So Fancy Studio LLC, which had been active since 2022. I expected professional guidance to correct my filing and properly protect my established business name. Instead, I was kept on the wrong path. Rather than being advise...d to refile as use-in-commerce (the correct basis for an existing business), my application continued as intent-to-use. This caused unnecessary delays, extra filings, and confusion. The reason I hired an attorney was to receive accurate advice and an efficient solution — but I feel I was misadvised and my needs as a client were not met. I eventually had to hire a new attorney to fix the situation and secure the protection I originally sought. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Fishman Stewart for trademark matters.
