My battle to get my status in this country was 11 yrs long but today I have status because of Sufen. Its because she never gave up and also kept us realistically optimistic all the way. There was a time when all lawyers we contacted for second opinion refused to take our case as well as told us to ju...st go back home. She just told us she is all the way with us and wont quit. She is always up to date with any current or previous law that could help her client and that's what really helped our case. It was a case of over stay, thus adjustment of status was being denied and I was issued an intent to deport too. But again, Sufen was standing strong and used her research and years of experience to find us way out of this situation that Judge had to cancel the deportation too. Since I was already in the country for 10+yrs, she filed Cancellation of removal on that basis and it was approved and my case got suspended. My GC was filed by my employer first but that got denied so we waited till my wife got her Citizenship to get my status adjusted under spouse category. But again to pull the time in between plus to keep me legal in the country first the Cancellation of removal really helped and then the big bliss was the Obama government's Administrative closure of eligible cases! All this different options and getting approval is not without strong case language and documentation that she created every time. She was out of state lawyer for us but was always reachable whatever the hour was. She answered and explained each and every question or query with patience and again it was her strong will that kept us going. We finally won and I can go home after 15yrs to see my mother. Again a big thanks to her forever.

When I came to Sufen with my messed up, beyond complication and nearly impossible case, I was 99.9% desperate. I was just trying to buy some time by apply for a visa reinstatement and kept my option open (go back to home country, come back to US or not, etc).
