Michael S. Baldwin LL.M.

Attorney Michael Baldwin is licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan and the United States District Court, Eastern District.  Mr. Baldwin is an active member of the State Bar of Michigan and is in good standing.  He carries professional malpractice insurance.

Mr. Baldwin received his Juris Doctor degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2002.  While in law school, Mr. Baldwin worked at the Michigan Department of Attorney General and used his exceptional research and writing skills to draft appellate briefs arguing against interpretation of respondent’s claim for federal recognition as an Indian tribe under the Code of Laws of the United States of America.  Upon graduation, Mr. Baldwin began his career as a general practitioner for the prestigious law firm Christopher Trainor & Associates, P.C.  While employed there, Mr. Baldwin zealously represented thousands of clients and independently managed a wide variety of cases with full discretion and authority for legal decisions.  He became the lead attorney and supervised criminal and family law departments.  Five years later, Mr. Baldwin branched off to incorporate Baldwin Legal Services PLLC.

As a founder and an attorney of Baldwin Legal Services PLLC, Mr. Baldwin offers a wide variety of expertise to his clients in the areas of personal injury, criminal defense, social security disability, and insurance claims, as well as probate and estate administration.  Mr. Baldwin is a renowned attorney in a diverse area of insurance laws.  In December 2013, he completed a Masters of Law (LL.M.) in Insurance Law at the Thomas M. Cooley Law School.  Mr. Baldwin prides himself in specializing in insurance law matters and represents the general public in highly complex insurance cases against insurance companies.

Mr. Baldwin is happily married and has been an active reef aquarist for over 25 years.  He engineered and built electrical circuits for the implementation of electronic devices to automate reef tanks.  Mr. Baldwin also enjoys spending time with his parrot, Amy, a companion for over 28 years, and owns a high-performance race car.
