Jill Ann Duffy

I am writing this review based on my personal experience with Jill Duffy’s work on my custody case, which involved serious domestic violence concerns. Unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing. In my opinion, she did not demonstrate the level of knowledge, preparation, or organization ...that is critical when supporting victims of domestic violence in custody matters. These cases require a strong understanding of abuse dynamics, safety concerns, coercive control, documentation, and how evidence should be presented. I did not feel that my situation was handled with the seriousness, awareness, or competence it required. I also had substantial evidence that needed to be organized carefully and strategically. In my experience, that did not happen effectively. I felt that important information was not properly structured, prioritized, or presented in a way that supported the reality of what I was dealing with. I was also concerned that she did not appear to be up to date with modern technology or tools, including AI-assisted organization, that could have helped manage, summarize, and prepare evidence more effectively. For anyone involved in a custody case connected to domestic violence, preparation and knowledge are not optional. They are essential. I expected informed, trauma-aware, and organized advocacy. Instead, I felt unsupported and very concerned that key parts of my case were not understood or handled properly. I strongly encourage anyone considering working with Jill Duffy on a custody matter involving domestic violence to ask very direct questions about her experience with abuse-related custody cases, her understanding of domestic violence dynamics, her process for organizing substantial evidence, and whether she uses current technology to support that work. This was my personal experience, and I believe others deserve to know it before making such an important decision.
