I was in a horrible situation where not only I but my dog as well were illegal tenants dog on two separate occasions, the landlord had said they'd get rid of them within 48 hours but within 30 days later it never happened. Several days later his sister whom also was illegally living in the unit assa...ulted me by striking me across the back of my head and threatened to slit my throat. Needless-to-mention I made a police report and immediately left my home of 3.5 years in order to remain safe. I am only a renter and have been failed by landlord repeatedly, they don't even return my calls or requests for fixes.
