I hired Matt to handle my bankruptcy case. I was newly pregnant and told him ahead of time I couldn't handle stress because of it being a dangerous pregnancy. My case was easy - nothing that would cause any hicups along the way. I paid in full, $1500 cash as he demanded before he would start any ...filing. I met with him several times-he raised no red flags, so to speak. He said we would be done withing 3-4 months which was great news to me, especially wanting this behind me before my baby came. Well ....after a YEAR of going back and forth and him LYING to me, I find out he doesn't even have his license anymore! He lost his license in April 2014 and even up until July 2014 he was emailing me and calling me, telling (lying) me he would go to court for me so I didn't have to deal with the stress so close to my due date...and then called me afterwards to tell me it went smoothly and "I'm all set." This wad a blatant and malicious lie. In reality, he TOOK $1500 my family of four needed terribly and strung me along for over a year....I only found out about his asinine lies after calling the court system to get my records/paperwork (that doesn't exist because he lied to me)!!

I hired Matt about 3 years ago for a O.W.I and he did an awesome job. So I figured since I used him before, I would go back to him for my bankruptcy. Its been almost 3 years since I filed and I just found out today that his license is suspended! Now I dont know who to contact because he was paid in f...ull to file for me. He went from a good lawyer to someone I would never recommended!!!! Be careful because he still has his info online for his practice and not every website shows that his license is suspended.

Matt was very professional and compassionate. He listened to my concerns and handled my very difficult divorce with a high level of ethics and understanding. Matt communicated with me at every level and returned phone calls and emails swiftly. He gave me a voice when I felt I had none, and made me fe...el like I truly had someone fighting for me. I would strongly recommend Matt - he is a true gentleman.
