Tanisha Monique Davis

Tanisha M. Davis, is Managing Partner of Tanisha M. Davis, Attorney at Law, PLLC.  

Tanisha started her solo law practice from the ground up, and also worked as managing partner of TMD Law Group, PLLC, and Corporate Counsel for Players Only Holding, a vertically integrated cannabis start up. Although beginning her career specializing in criminal law, family law and business law, Tanisha’s expertise has morphed into a specialization in the issues that matter most--protecting familes, and protecting businesses.  This has meant a strong expertise in family law, including divorces, custody, and support matters, as well as business law, encompassing contracts, negotiations, compliance and the growing cannabis law industry.  Her reach is extensive and works to be the small firm returning big firm results.

She is licensed to practice in both State and Federal Courts.  Her practice extends to Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, and Washtenaw County, and have also traveled throughout parts of the State of Michigan for representation.  In the area of family law, Ms. Davis has trial experience in both Complext Divorce litigation, Custody, Change of Domicile and high conflict Parenting Time cases with an extreme high degree of success.  She is dedicated, prepared, and extremely accessible to her clients. She has affordable rates, and works aggressively to achieve good results.  She is Vice Chair of Straker Bar Association, Board of Directors of the Black Women Lawyers Association of Michigan, and sits on the Constitutional & Bylaws Committee for the National Bar Association.  She is a member of the Oakland County Bar Association, Wolverine Bar Association, and a legal advisory for the Detroit Alumni Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated.
