If you want a lawyer who fight and win he’s definitely your guy. I’ve had several cases that he’s fought long and hard on and produced noteworthy results. He’s very passionate about what he do and that reflects in his effort to go the extra mile to spend countless hours around the clock to study each... case individually again to produce the results. I couldn’t think of another attorney to deal with and he’s highly recommended to all my family and friends.

It is with great frustration and heartbreak that I leave this review, after having my case neglected, and Jeff withdrew after nearly two years of incompetence and inaction. After a family therapist told me to hire an attorney, it took months for Jeff to get a motion before the court. He then failed t...o advise me of a response from opposing council, and came to the hearing unprepared, not challenging untrue testimony which started momentum working against us. Despite having proof of the dishonesty, he opted not to remediate the matter by setting the record straight in court, and petitioning for legal costs and/or sanctions - action a competent family attorney would have taken immediately. Often I was told to "just wait," as I asked if there was a plan. Meanwhile, the other parent engaged in egregious behavior, at one point precipitating police involvement, while Jeff remained on the sidelines. His inattention left the paralegal surprised to receive a call from me, having thought the matter was closed. Opposing council filed a motion, and Jeff was unable to craft a response in time, leaving me to do the work at the last minute. The paralegal filed the motion on the wrong case, and Jeff was oblivious during the hearing, which went very badly. After the hearing I pulled the court records and discovered the error. When I informed him of this issue, I received no response. When I sent a second communication expressing my displeasure over what happened, I received a very uninterested and unconcerned response stating, "oh, we thought that was just an fyi." The inaction torpedoed my case and the main concern Jeff had was that my email upset his paralegal; it was the only time I ever saw him demonstrate enthusiasm. There was a hearing date that was changed and when I called in, I discovered he failed to notify me There was another hearing where we had to track Jeff down, and he was clearly disoriented when he joined the call. My children were exposed to more confusion and cruelty than was ever necessary, at a cost to me of $15,000. This betrayal does nothing to help the terrible perception lawyers have, and shows just how badly the retainer system can be abused. I have a great deal of familiarity with the court system and this was a case I could have handled myself, but I wanted to avoid the dynamics of squaring off against a former spouse in the courtroom. Because I understand the process, I am acutely aware of just how badly my case was managed, and it is my children who are paying the price, having to grow up in separate households while Jeff enriched himself. I am in a position to recover attorney fees by taking action myself against my spouse, for her documented dishonesty, but I have gotten no response to multiple polite requests for a final billing. Jeff has no business intervening when the future of young children are involved, and letting my children languish for two years before withdrawing is a complete lack of compassion and humanity. After avoiding me and making excuses and ultimately dumping the case, his final words to me were an unconcerned, unfeeling, "good luck."

This is going to be a long one but to save you all the trouble … Honestly you would be better defending yourself. He barley ever spoke up for me, Jeffrey basically blew me off telling me it’s not big deal for every reasonable issue that I had. Fast forward to the last time we had a hearing, w...hile trying to come to an agreement with my the defendants attorney (via phone calls back and forth because he was too lazy to meet me in person) he would hang up on me, make comments like “oh my god” “Jesus Christ” “are you serious just adjust your schedule” “stop being complicated” and the best one “stop talking”. After asking him a question regarding over night parenting time he gave me some bs answer, the man was too lazy to even look in my file so I had to go pick up my file and find the answer myself (which he also charged me for). To top it all off after paying him $7500 the first time, that covered 3 hearings. When my retainer was up we paid him another $7500, went to court ONE TIME and again he was disrespectful and unprofessional and I was fed up. I asked him for an itemized receipt. I had to email Jeffrey probably 10 times and call his office at least 3 times in 1 month before getting a response. About a month or so later they told me my itemized receipt was ready and when I saw it I was shocked to see that my second retainer only covered one hearing and he drained my retainer charging everything he possibly could. For example the 10 emails I sent and never got a response to were charged $75 each. 4 texts that he never responded to were $150, and each text and email afterwards wether he responded or not. After checking my phone records I realized he also charged me for a multiple calls that he claims he made to me (I checked my phone bill to confirm he never called me.). Not to mention he charged me $350 for my “free consultation”. What a joke of a lawyer. How does one retainer cover 3 hearings and the second retainer only cover one? Also how can you switch up how you are charging me without making me aware at all? Not sure what the man’s problem is but he definitely will NOT fight for you. The most unethical and unprofessional human being I have ever met in my life.
