WILL RIP YOU OFF

Ron was my lawyer for two incidents. The first he was able to get dropped to a lesser offense and everything was fine. The second offense I got I was supposed to have it dropped and be off probation early, however, NON OF THIS HAPPENED, despite being told by him this WOULD happen and after he took my... money. First off, I wanted to be off probation early because my parents live out of state and I wanted to go live with them following graduating college. Long story short, Ron said I'll get you off early no problem, it'll be $1500. Paid him the money, go in front of the judge and judge was like NOPE gotta finish probation. So got screwed out of the $1500 there. He didn't DO ANYTHING, just send a sheet of paper and charge me $1500, said he'd get me off early, and nothing happened. Secondly, I was supposed to have my charged dropped, however, some new law through secretary of state wouldn't allow this for some reason. So I asked Ron if he could send a petition to the SOS in order to have this reversed and my charge dropped. He told me it was going to be $500....so after the first incident I was like are you POSITIVE, you can get this dropped before I give you $500?? "Of course!!!", said Ron. "I'll get it dropped no problem," said him. Year later, literally, a year later...get a call from the guy after I've been bugging him for the past couple months, and he says "Nope didn't go through sorry buddy..." So I'm like can I get some of my money back because you said this would happen, Ron says "NOPE, sorry man!" The guy is a complete snack, he'll say anything you want to hear in order to get your money. Don't hire him.

2nd offense selling controlled substance to undercover officer

Still have a long way to go, however attorney Ronald Marsh guarantees that I will not see the inside of the jail or Prison Walls even with how horrible my record already is so let's hope that the money I'm paying him is worth it!!!

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
