About Thomas
Biography
Thomas Economy joined the Christensen Law in Novemebr 2016. He has spent the majority of his 17 year career as a trial lawyer representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases. He has also worked as an insurance defense lawyer in various case types. He is an experienced trial attorney and has spent his entire career handling personal injury cases with an emphasis on no-fault insurance, automobile negligence, child lead poisoning and premises liability litigation. He is also a skilled appellate lawyer, having handled numerous cases before the Michigan Court of Appeals as well as the Michigan Supreme Court.
Tom attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Michigan-Dearborn in 1996. In 1999, he obtained his law degree from Michigan State University Law School.
Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife Helen and their two young children. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys history, music, movies and traveling.
