Michael Einheuser

Michael Einheuser is the principal of Einheuser Legal Group, P.C. which specializes in Estate Planning and Elder Law. Michael has been practicing law for 35 years. He has been privileged to be involved in writing over 2,000 estate plans.

Mr. Einheuser regards the practice of law as one of the “helping” professions. He believes that attorneys should conduct themselves like doctors or ministers, serving as a trusted professional that people can turn to for help with their most important and sometimes most private concerns.

Mr. Einheuser received a Bachelor of Philosophy (Ph.B.) degree from Monteith College at Wayne State University. He earned his law degree (Juris Doctorate) from the evening division of the Detroit College of Law, which is now the Michigan State University College of Law.

Public and community service has always been important to Mr. Einheuser. He served for three years as an executive assistant to a former mayor of the City of Detroit. He was a member of the Wayne County Charter Commission which wrote the charter for the county government. He has also served on the Board of Governors at Wayne State University and the Board of Trustees at Sacred Heart Major Seminary.

Mr. Einheuser was one of the founding members of the Detroit Lighting Authority and now sits on the Detroit Board of Water Commissioners.

Mr. Einheuser taught Business Ethics in the Masters of Business Administration program at Wayne State University’s School of Business Administration for over 25 years.
