family council

Jessica and her amazing staff were very detailed and extremely professional. With our very first consultation, I felt that I was truly represented by the BEST firm, and the ensuing results absolutely confirmed this. I would highly recommend this outstanding council!

My Divorce

I was recommended to Ms. Wolls practice by a colleague at my place or work who had had Ms. Woll representing his ex wife in a divorce. This was around the year 1999-2000. I duly hired Ms Woll, but I did not know I had hired her whole staff of attorneys that would variously show up at 'Show Causes", a...s my ex wife was harming my children with live in boyfriends, etc, etc. It was ugly. She was expressly forbidden by the equally useless Judge Alexander to do this . My ex just blithely ignored this demand and Ms. Woll offered little to no solutions, except to spend more money with her. Ironically my ex wife hired an unassuming semi retired Jewish lawyer who was very sharp (No pun), on the ball and organized on his paperwork. I think we had to go to court about 6-8 times, none of which became a decision in my favour handed down by Alexander. However upon the appointed time we would attend court for a hearing, I would never know who was going to show up as my attorney ! ! The first time was Ms. Woll (Jessica) who arrived at the last minute out of breath rushing to make it ontime. Other times I had a Ms Tiesha Tan show up, a Attorney with spectacles (was introduced to her before hand but don't recall her name), and in every other time someone whom I had never met before and clearly had no idea of my case. In fact at one time I had Ms. Wolls mother, a lady of advancing years, showed up as my attorney who I had no idea who she was, and when I first met her I assumed she was a another divorcee litigant. I was told she still retained her Law license and so could represent me. I remember I did not get a discount. What an absolute fiasco. However the only thing that the Woll Law firm was absolutely stellar and efficient at; was making sure the billing was sent immediately. In fact I think sometimes the bill which was very high each time, got to my house before I did from returning from court. Also the air was very intimidating. More than once I was told very forcefully that if I did not like their services "You can go some where else", in an in your face manner. Now I am not a shrinking violet, but at that time I was extremely concerned about the welfare of my children, was confused and at no time did I feel that they had the best wishes of my children at heart. Unfortunately I was into them for about $30,000 or so at that time if I recall, so what do you do? Pull stakes upon Ms. Wolls threats and move to somewhere else and start over ? It was all about the money and how efficiently they could get paid. In the settlement virtually everything was given to my ex, as a trade off, to a property in the UK which I had bought for my mother with the consent of my ex. I do believe the complexities of this arrangement, or pure disinterest in researching the ramifications and possible adverse outcomes from this arrangement was maybe down to laziness. In the end it was adjudicated by an independent arbiter anyway, with the words ringing in my ears "we need to get you divorced from her" which sort of sounds like a stock expression meant to placate, which really meant "so I can get paid in full". It really was an awful piece of high priced nominal work, that I cannot to this day quantify as "money well spent" when looking at the results of them supposedly being on my side? I am to this day suffering dramatically from this, and as my mother ages in the UK, and is in frail health at 91,and this property becomes available to me I now discover that I can only access 50% of it value as the UK very kindly changed the law so that nursing care is now traded off against the assets of my mother. Maybe the nuances of the UK law is not something that they would argue is in there purview, but they did not even bring this to my attention as a possibility, which for the money I paid would have thought they might have had a clue about. I must say, that no divorces are easy, but to me the aggressiveness towards their client (myself) the added stress they imposed was bad.

Dear Mr. Sharp: I am very sorry to learn, from your review, that you were not happy with your experience with Woll & Woll, P.C., nearly 2 decades ago. We take the welfare of our clients very seriously and encourage all who seek legal counsel from our office to contact us with any concerns they may have, throughout their representation. Please know that my staff and I work very hard to meet the needs of our clients, during some of the worst times of their lives and we wish everyone who seeks our assistance the very best.

The Best, Period!

I retained Jessica for my divorce. I knew from the beginning that my ordeal was going to be difficult given my spouse’s personality type and the reputation of the counsel she had retained. As was predicted, things quickly deteriorated with heinous false accusations that aimed to ruin my career and ro...b me of my time with my children. Having Jessica in my corner not only saved my professional career but my life as well. Today, I have an excellent loving relationship with my children and a life free of toxicity.

High Stakes

Jessica was recommended to me by a trusted friend. During our initial consultation, I had no idea know how to handle the complex legal and financial issues that come along with a divorce in your early 40’s. To be honest, I still don’t know all the ins and outs, and like most people, I never will. For...tunately, Jessica did. Getting a divorce meant I had A LOT at stake, and I needed an attorney with a reputation as “the best” when it came to divorce. I’m very pleased with the outcome of my divorce and I whole heartedly recommend Jessica to represent you during yours, especially if you’ve got a lot to lose.
