I met Brooke in Newton county a small town in the middle of Indiana I had a felony case for possession of a unused syringe of witch I had a prescription for I was in the hospital for my first court date so I called to have the case continued after spending a week in the hospital with a serious staff ...infection bit by a drown recluse spider. I called to find out about my next court appearance only able to get ahold of her secretary who had no date to give me . I was never was contacted by Brooke not once by phone or letter nothing, I look my case up on line to find out a warrant has been issued my court date was said a week after I was out of the hospital, which is unheard of I was in no condition to travel so I reach out to Brooke once again I get only her secretary no response from Brooke, so I took it upon myself to send in a motion, to squash the warrant, and provide proof of my prescription for the ability to carry syringes. I finally receive a call from Brooke and I had told her I had sent in a motion to squashed the warrant and sent in the evidence stating that I have a prescription to carry syringes and that I want the case to be dismissed. She said what you did what in a very displeased manner then tried to tell me that my $2000 bond was depleted when all she ever did was go to court one time and get a continuance. she then proceeded to lie and tell me that she had sent multiple letters called multiple times, and I knew just by the sound in her voice that she was lying and tried to justify that she had over 10 hours on my case when I’m pretty sure she didn’t even have one complete hour, she even went as far as to motion to the court to try to hijack my bond money but thankfully Newton county is smart enough to know that her request was a load of BS. Excuse my language that was a low down, dirty shame, full move she should be stripped of her license and made an example of how an attorney should not try to take advantage of their client, so I highly recommend finding a professional, not a crook and it is funny it is it is her name is Brooke almost sounds like a Dr. Seuss book. I hope this helps other people because that is my goal. And the funny thing is the only letter I received from her was for a bill right after we had this discussion, I would gladly take a polygraph. Let’s see if she will.
