I recently had the misfortune of hiring a lawyer who left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. To put it bluntly, my experience with this attorney has been nothing short of terrible. From the very beginning, her complete lack of communication made it nearly impossible to get updates on my case or e...ven ask simple questions. It was not only unprofessional but also extremely frustrating. Additionally, the lawyer's demeanor and attitude were nothing short of rude and impersonal. During our limited interactions, she came across as dismissive and condescending. She acts like you are an inconvenience to her.

My experience with the Law Office of Cynthia Smith’s billing and service practices left much to be desired. The recurrence of charges for the same services, the inclusion of billable hours extending beyond reasonable timeframes, and the absence of explanations for these discrepancies were alarming. M...oreover, the substantial increase of almost 65% higher than quoted in the overall cost, coupled with the lack of responsiveness and accountability, highlighted a level of disregard for client concerns and transparency. It is my sincere hope that sharing my experience will encourage others to carefully evaluate the billing practices of legal professionals they consider working with. Transparency, accuracy, and responsiveness in billing are essential components of any professional relationship, and my unfortunate experience with Cynthia underscores the importance of these factors.

I had Cindy as my lawyer for over 5 years and never won in the court room. She is excellent at talking to you in the office and making you feel as though she understands and is working for you. However, once you walk out of her door, she is no longer thinking about you or your case. She knows the ...law and can do a nice job examining witnesses. However, she lets the other lawyer tell the judge what to do and does not stand up for her client. She is terrible at completing paperwork, often taking weeks to complete what she told you would be done the next day. Nor does she bother to return phone calls. While I liked her as a person, I would not recommend her as a lawyer.
