Christopher Paul Hopson

I’ve tried to post this review a couple of times and haven’t had it gone through. However, I would not recommend Chris Hopson. I understand that a lawyers job is to defend their client, but this was far past that. Chris defended a man who abused his children in (unfortunately all) ways. This man wa...s horrific and the children were terrified of him, and vocalized that. They would beg for help and safety. Chris recommended that they have extended time with them, although they both self injured themselves and tried to run away. Chris would speak as if he knew the boys, when he never met them the ENTIRETY of the case. He couldn’t tell us who was who between 2 children. He was incredibly disrespectful to the entire team. I’m not sure how you can be done working for the day and not feel guilt in your heart. The poor children have problems to this day, which Mr.Hopson contributed to having that extended. He was the only individual pushing for these children to be in the abusive home where they were confined for extended amounts of time, with no food or hygiene. Some people will truly do anything for a paycheck

I'm going to try to keep this straight forward and to the point. As my Attorney in which I paid for, Mr. Christopher Hopson was just going through the motions and DCS made many false allegations about my case and incorrect filings of very relavant exhibits to the court. The case should of been totall...y dismissed on incorrect filings and failure to adhere to court procedure. Mr Hopson made no effort to bring forth Police Officers and get depositions that could have been clearly a turning point for my defense in that in this particular case those police officers statements could have proven that the DCS made obvious lies about me and the unprofessional nature of the serious lack of evidence that DCS had concerning my ability to responsibly parent my child and I'm appealing my case and if over turned I'm going to take out a lawsuit against Mr Hopson for defamation of character and emotional damages for his blatant inability to do his job and act in the best interest of his client and not having the motivation to do anything and everything in his power to exhaust every resource to show the Juvenile Magistrate that The Department of Child Services clearly didn't act professional and forged lies about the circumstances of the case. If you want your children home don't hire this unprofessional please!
