Jeffrey Stuart Kohr

Kohr was assigned as a public defender on a case I had through the Juvenile Courts. I did not know this until I walked in the court room as he introduced himself as he failed to make any attempt to contact me prior to the hearing date. Since we had never spoke before, Kohr knew nothing about the case... and completely sabotaged the hearing that was suppose to involve reviewing evidence and facts of a protective order. I had my evidence in hand as I was suppose to but Kohr didn't care and had the hearing pushed out another month which was completely outrageous since he was the only unprepared at the time due to his own negligence. After the hearing I called to setup a time to meet and discuss the case but Kohr continuously failed to return my calls. One would assume for an attorney to do their job properly they may need to speak with their client and have some sort of understanding of the case. I personally don't feel Kohr had any intention of providing actual attorney services nor did he have any interest in the case aside collecting his check. I removed Kohr from my case and hired my own counsel because I had zero faith in him doing his job or defending my rights to fair legal protection and justice.
