This attorney convinced my sister and me to file a case in plenary court that should have been filed in small claims. He believed there was a claim for pain and suffering even though I told him that there wasn't. He filed the complaint the way he wanted to and then, after the case began, he realize...d his error and then dropped huge discovery on us and ghosted us. The case was almost dismissed because he refused to communicate with us. At the time we were completely ignorant of what was happening and didn't know how to access documents on mycase. It was always too late when we learned what was going on at each more detrimental step. He was actively working to have our case dismissed - going out of town for a vacation while urgent responses were required by the court. He had made a mistake in our case, and instead of fixing it for our sake, he made it look like we were petulant plaintiffs and kept pushing after we'd been sanctioned (due to his negligence in not telling us that the defendants were willing to proceed to settle if the pain and suffering was dropped). I really can't recommend AGAINST this attorney strongly enough.

Mr. Jeremy Tempel was hired as my 2nd attorney to complete a MODIFICATION APPEAL process that my original attorney on my criminal case failed to do. Mr. Tempel successfully convinced the court to place me on active probation after having served only 22 months of the original 18 year sentence (18, ...suspend 8, do 10, IDOC for 5). Because he was detailed in his presentation, had his "ducks in a row" and was ready with relevant research and witnesses prior to and during my hearing to counter whatever the State Attorney General's office objected to in allowing my bid to be released.
