Not worth the $$

He was an expensive paper pusher (in the thousands.) I would not use his services again. After talking with people around town, he has a reputation for only really helping some clients while the others just pay for his expensive car.

$20grand, Never so much as offered me a plea agreement or took depositions, then Withdrew couple months before trial

I feel totally let down by Mr. Shapiro. Dawnetta is the best paralegal in the game and Sam used to be my hero lawyer. He has seemed to lose his spunk and all that I admired about him from the beginning. He used to take a stand for justice and opposed bully cops head on, but i used all my defense mo...ney on him and he didn't so much as take a deposition or give me a plea and made my family feel inadequate for not having $30 more thou up front for trial so he withdrew as my attorney leaving me with a public defender.... :( Pretty awful way to do a faithful client who has referred several of his clients to him.
