Disrespectful and biased

Very disrespectful with my dad, James wouldn't even consider facts as MLS records of when my dad brought his house many years before his marriage but he did took zillow to price a house , which by the way zillo shows the house was bought many years before he got married. The settlement basically leav...e on the open that she can go to my dad's house and pick what ever she wants. And this guy pretends my dad to liquidate his retirement account and sell his house all in 90 days. What a biased and unprofessional attorney.

Fantastic Mediator.

Williams, a former Judge, mediated a family law matter for us. His grasp of the issues was very good. He demonstrated firm empathy and was able to get a complex case resolved in a manner that left both parties feeling good about a difficult process.

Wise Counselor

We worked with Mr. Williams on several mediations. He had a unique ability to bring opposing sides together in a spirit of compromise by gently pointing out the weaknesses and strengths of both sides' positions. He also brings a practical approach to litigation that is informed by his experience as... a trial judge with general jurisdiction. The cases have involved complex factual and legal matters. Mr. Williams was very prepared to address these issues and did not waste time getting up to speed.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
