Jury Trial for Contested Child Custody Case
N/AOUTCOME: We prevailed, although no one truly wins in this type of case. Father was named the joint managing conservator of the children with the exclusive right to designate the primary residence.
I represented a father in a highly contested modification case. The mother of the children had filed for the modification and was seeking to restrict the father's periods of possession to the state of ... Texas. Father was, and still is, an active duty military serviceman assigned to a base out of the state. Mother was also actively alienating the children from their father in the hopes of denying him from ever seeing his kids again. The case went to a jury trial on the issue of primary conservatorship.
