Absolute crook overcharges , crap strategy. I do all the work he is forcing me to take plea deals and negotiate things i don't agree with. Save your money i haven't seen my son in years and all he cares about is the easiest way to get his money if you want to end up with a crap deal and pay thousands... this is your guy

I retained Mr. Pierce to help me get a guardianship dissolved and to help me get the custody agreement between my son's father and I modified. We separated and filed for divorce in Spring of 2012. At that time, we felt he would benefit from staying with his paternal grandmother while his father and I... went through our divorce and worked to stabilize ourselves again. She had stated that once we were situated, she would voluntarily work with us to get said guardianship dissolved. Well that didn't happen. We were referred to Mr. Pierce via LegalSheild at the end of September for our hearing on Oct 25th. When we had our consultation in mid October, he really impressed my fiance and I with his personality and enthusiasm. All of the forms and legwork had been done on my own up to this point. I had filed my own motion for a hearing and sent out the certified notices to all parties myself so anything that my son's father or his family saw looked like I was Pro Se. Mr. Pierce said that that was a good thing because it would give us the element of surprise when we go to court with them thinking it would be a slam dunk. Boy, was he right!!! They were literally shaking! Mr. Pierce tried to be reasonable with them and offered to do a transition period where the guardianship officially dissolved eff 1/1/18 - with me having him every other week if they would just agree to the dissolution. They declined. When we were called up to be heard, my lawyer COMPLETELY wiped the floor with them! He was a total barracuda and then some. Their lawyer was fumbling and stuttering the entire time. He was obviously unprepared and would spend at least 15 seconds rifling through his papers before asking me a question and several of the questions that he did ask - my attorney objected to and were sustained. Basically, he owned that hearing and left them with no leg to stand on! It was a beautiful thing and the guardianship was dissolved effective immediately. Afterwards, Mr. Pierce tried to be reasonable yet again by telling them they could pick him up from school and bring him to me by 6p. They bitterly declined again. Next up is going to be our request to modify the custody agreement and from what I hear, yesterday was only a preview of how amazing Mr. Pierce truly is! One additional note... Mr. Pierce used to be a judge.
