Ms. Noel handled my step-parent adoption case about four years ago. My daughter's biological father was trying to contest it even though he had not supported her or even seen her in years. He also had an extensive criminal and drug history. My daughter desperately wanted me to adopt her as she saw... me as the only "father" she wanted in her life. Katherine Noel represented me in a child support arrears case. I had been to court several times with the county prosecutor and child support office both. I was owed several thousand dollars in past due support. The judge's orders were always in my favor, but with no support payments ever being made.... I have used Ms. Noel for several legal matters. The first being my divorce back in 2005. First and foremost, her rates were extremely reasonable when compared to others in town. She was able to explain the process, and make it so much less painful than it already was. She was very honest, did not ...sugarcoat things, but was kind while doing it. She never seemed to have a problem to answer any questions that I had, even though I know she was extremely busy. She was able to help facilitate an agreement where my ex husband and I never had to go to Court, but we were both happy with the end result. Recently, I have found myself in an abusive marriage.
