As my public defender, it was made painfully clear that fighting for me as an individual was much less important than filing plea bargains and pushing me through the system to get to the next case. I need someone who fights for me, and my rights. I was scoffed at and met with rolls of the eyes when... I chose to contest the claims. Unfortunately, I can't afford a lawyer who cares, so I got exasperated sighs and sideways grins in place of care. With the amount of profane language and idle banter while court was in session, I can safely make a firm statement that I witnessed the least professional behavior in the courts that I have ever seen. Lisa has shown me that she is a desperate last measure, not a lawyer who will fight for justice. I could not be more dissappointed, but at the cost of zero dollars, this is the best I will ever get. Justice for the wealthy, money for the courts otherwise. This is my best case scenario.
