A Florida dentist was facing a suspension (or possibly revocation) of his license after he was arrested for DUI and blew a .24 (three times over the legal limit). He also had his son in the front seat, ... which makes it a felony. I was able to show the Florida Board of Dentistry through, amongst other things, character letters, that he was not a danger to the medical community. I was able to get his case dismissed.

My client was arrested and charged with Battery on a LEO. She was very intoxicated when the event occurred and did not dispute the facts. It was clear it was in our best interest to negotiate a reasona ... ble plea deal. However, as a result of her prior criminal history and the fact that this crime is a felony, the State was only willing to offer 180 days in jail. The problem was that the client obviously did not want to spend half a year in jail, but we knew a jury would side with the four sworn officers who were set to testify. I was able to negotiate a deal with the judge that included just probation, and no jail time.
