Sean Arata was born and raised in Fort Wayne, and is a proud graduate of South Side High School. He attended Indiana University and received a degree in Journalism. He then went on to the University of Oregon to obtain his law degree, where he was the graduation speaker for his class. During law school, he became certified in mediation for the state of Oregon.
Outside of law, he is heavily involved in the arts, serving as a board member at Arena Dinner Theatre, as well as acting on stages throughout Fort Wayne. He is also a member of the band Downstait, who toured nationally for over a decade, and can be heard on MTV, WWE, AEW, at sporting events, and on video games and commercials.
Sean moved back to Indiana and was admitted to practice law in 2018. He is admitted to practice in Indiana, and before the U.S. District Court in the Northern District of Indiana.
He primarily practices Criminal Defense, but also handles Expungements, Protective Orders, Specialized Driving Privileges, and Traffic Infractions, including CDL drivers.
