This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority.
This means that the attorney's misconduct in another state, or jurisdiction, also violated the rules for practicing law in Missouri.
This means the attorney lost his or her license to practice law for a period of time. The attorney typically returns to practicing law when the suspension expires.

After spending six years being pushed around and intimidated by the mother of my daughter and the local court system, I turned to Jim Hanson. In short order he became a friend, a voice of reason and a relentless counselor. One could say my past legal issues were "Colorful". Jim never once made me feel as if I should be ashamed or gave me that annoying belittled feeling that many attorney types do. If you are in need of representation, If you want somebody that will listen to your side of the story and fight for not only what you deserve but what is right Jim is the man for the job. By the way, to this point we've had three court cases. Three victories. Two more to go. I don't have a single worry as to what the outcome will be.

Jim is always keeping me informed of what is going on and is very accommodating as to my schedule. He is always looking out for my best interest. He was quick on taking on my case(s) and was there for me every inch of the way and I appreciate everything he has done for me and I know that if I ever need him in the future he will be there for me with no hesitation. Jim handled 2 cases for me at the same time.

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
I endorse this lawyer. Mr. Hanson is an active participant in the Avvo community and I have come across a great number of his answers, being that we both handle estate planning matters. I find his answers to be informative, practical and kind-spirited. They reflect a thorough understanding of the law, as well. I am happy to endorse Mr. Hanson and his services. James Frederick
