Custody issues in different state.

I have used Brian a few times in a 10 year period and have been more than pleased with my outcome. Brian is extremely knowledgeable and I would and have recommended him to friends and family.

Custody Issue

Brian explained that my daughter had sole custody of her son and just because the birth father is on the birth certificate, he did not have equal custody as he threatened that he was taking her to court for full custody. He has never established paternity and never paid support. He indicated it was... just a privilege that my daughter was allowing him to visit. He suggested the 4D program to file for support and felt like she did not need an attorney at this time. If anything changes, we would consider hiring him.

Brian's answer to my questions were very helpful in me figuring out my next step. Would trust this attorney with case.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
