Michelle Renee Voirol

Shelley Voirol is an experienced criminal defense attorney with over two decades of courtroom experience representing individuals facing misdemeanor and felony charges. She is known for strong advocacy, thorough preparation, and a deep understanding of how criminal cases are decided.

Shelley graduated cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where she was a member of Law Review, a Moot Court semifinalist, and a published author. She also holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice and Psychology with honors. After law school, Shelley served as a judicial law clerk for an Elkhart Superior Court judge, gaining inside perspective by presiding over adult criminal, juvenile, and CHINS cases.

For more than ten years, Shelley worked as a public defender and later in private practice, defending clients and protecting constitutional rights in high-stakes cases. Her experience inside the courtroom and the judiciary allows her to anticipate challenges and build effective defense strategies.

Shelley is committed to standing between her clients and the power of the government and fighting for the best possible outcome in every case.

She also loves animals, stand-up comedy, and is a National Bone Marrow Donor Award recipient.
