Push over and no back bone. No experience. Do not hire for anything important

I hired Rachel for a domestic violence case involving children. She failed to ever mention to me she specializes in elder law. She failed my children and myself and did nothing to help protect us. She handed my children back into the hands of their abuser, stating "It will look better to the judge" a...nd insisted I bend over backwards to cater to my abuser and his every whim, revictimizing me and my children over and over. She may as well been my abusers lawyer, as she catered to him and had no interest in protecting my children, despite the mountain of evidence against my abuser. She has no backbone and was easily intimidated by my abusers lawyer. Lawyers like this one is part of the reason children continue to get abused(and worse) and ignored in the court system. If I could give her a negative star review, I would. Beware of this lawyer and avoid hiring her for anything important to you.

No backbone. No domestic violence experience

I am a victim of domestic violence. Rachel was my attorney in a case that should have been open and shut due to a preponderance of evidence of abuse. We had little communication prior to court and she just wanted me to agree to my ex-husband’s outrageous demands after. My ex husbands attorney obje...cted atleast 20 times Rachel did not object once. She was walked all over and allowed my daughter and myself to be railroaded in court. I fired her immediately after and hired Yvonne Spillers out of Ft Wayne. She has experience with domestic violence victims, works directly with the YWCA and has a strong backbone. I wish she had been with me as the first trial would have gone much differently.
