Warning don’t use Joe for Grandparents right s!! He doe not fight for you does what he thinks is best! Waste of money!

We used Joe for” GRANDPARENTS”rights but only one of us got to testify. We repeatly sent emails when our case got continued because we ran out of time, and at the next hearing told him in person to that my husband and some other family and friends wanted to testify. The judge looked at my husband tow...ard the end of the continued hearing and said “you have been siting there so quite”because he was waiting on Joe to call him on the stand. The judge asked Joe at the end of the continued hearing if he had more to say 2 DIFFERENT TIMES due to having plenty of time and Joe said no both times! We found out after the fact and countless emails sent, that Joe didn’t think it was necessary to use my husband or friends and family! I also emailed a letter to Joe to read in court and provide it to the judge either before or at court for the 2nd hearing and that never got brought up either and I of course never got an email back too regarding it. Needless to say , after all the evidence we provided, countless pictures and documents since the day my granddaughter was born proving that we and our family have been in her life since she was born up until last October at 6 1/2 years old a whole family was cut any contact with her because of my son and his ex wife, now (girlfriend) that’s not even the mother of my granddaughter! we lost and don’t get absolutely ANY time or communication with her, she’s still being used as a toy and we still don’t get to see or talk to her! The whole family just feels so upset for our 7 year old sweet granddaughter and all that she has gone through! It’s absolutely so upsetting! We hired Joe to help and fight for us and our grand daughter but now we’re back to square one the judge left it up to my son nothing changed! Joe and his team are very poor on communication as well, you’re lucky if you get an email responding back to you at alll! We asked for a refund and we were told there is no refund owed to you! A wate of time and a lot of money.!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
