If you have been injured, you need an attorney who understands your concerns, who can guide you through this life changing event and will directly work with you to seek a positive resolution to your claim. Sweeney Julian recruited Bill Keller to join the firm earlier this year and soon after he moved back to South Bend from Seattle. Bill wanted to find a practice where he could focus solely on working with injured people, and Sweeney Julian was the perfect fit.
Prior to joining Sweeney Julian, Bill was a Partner in the firms Moran & Keller PLLC, and MWW PLLC, where the practice focused on personal injury and high-stakes commercial litigation. Bill started his legal career as an associate at the law firm of LeGros Buchanan & Paul, where he defended the interests of fishing vessels, tug boats, shipping companies and other marine interests. During that time, Bill learned the ins and outs of how insurance companies and defendants evaluate claims and aggressively seek to intimidate injured persons from fully exercising their rights to a reasonable recovery.
Bill received his B.A. as a double major in Political Science and History from Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon in 1995. Thereafter, Bill graduated with a J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School, where he was selected as a member of the Moot Court Appellate board.
Bill has litigated cases at the trial, appellate and Supreme Court level, including most recently having won two cases argued in front of the Washington Supreme Court defending the Constitutional Rights of his clients in Akrie v. T-Mobile et al, and Dillon v. Seattle Deposition Reporters. Bill was named a Rising Star for three straight years by Washington Law & Politics magazine, an honor awarded to less than 2.5 percent of lawyers in the state based upon peer recognition, ethical standards and recognition for achievement in the legal field.
Bill has handled personal injury cases from intake to verdict as counsel for both plaintiffs and defendants, but after many years of seeing a system which focuses on accepting premiums and denying claims Bill is 100 percent dedicated to helping injured people exercise their rights.

Heart of a Lion, strong as an Ox.
Our fishing company works with a lot of lawyers, 90% litigation, and its a huge distraction to business. Sometimes we are required by insurers to use cheapo brand x or y, who are always looking out for their insurers but never the client, really. But when we need the best and we can choose, we choo...
"I have been opposing counsel against Bill and find him to be ethical, responsible, and fair to work with."
"Bill is an ethical, no-nonsense, and true advocate, going to great lengths to seek justice for his clients. Not only is he a colleague and trusted referral source, but he has been a valuable mentor. I also send friends and family to Bill because I trust that he will treat them right and get the job done."
"I have been both allied and opposed to Bill and his firm. He was direct, fair, to the point, efficient, and never lost sight of the end goal. Unlike some in the practice, he didn't churn the litigation just to go through the motions."
"Bill is a very intelligent, highly ethical attorney who provides aggressive representation for, and sound advice to, his clients. Well liked and personable, Bill is an effective trial attorney that clients trust and appreciate."
"I endorse this lawyer. I went to law school with Bill and also worked with him in Dallas. He is an outstanding litigator- intelligent and tough."
"I endorse this lawyer. I worked for Bill's firm through law school. Bill is an intelligent, energetic, and creative personal injury lawyer who achieves excellent results for his clients. He taught me much of what I put into practice for my own clients today."
"I worked with Bill for a number of years. He is a fine young lawyer who works hard with ingenuity and gets first class results for his clients."
