Overall, my lawyer did a solid job, although there were a few areas that could have used improvement. First off, she seemed to genuinely care about her client (me) and wanted to serve and help me as best as possible. She is easy to talk to and will try to answer the questions as best as possible, how...ever, there are some questions I felt she should have known the answer too regarding my case which she had much information on. Also, I was surprised that she did not dig deeper into my case. Basically I gave a vague description of what happened when I got arrested and that was it. I felt she should have asked questions like how did the officer(s) approach you, what questions did they ask, did they read you your rights, were they rough with you during the arrest, etc. That way the more information you have, the more possible loopholes there will be in the prosecution. It probably would not have mattered with my case, but still, it would not have hurt to ask. Only other complaint i can think of is that she did not seem to get me prepared for court dates like I thought she would. Letting your client know what exactly to expect in the court room can be important. Although this is where I could have initiated also. Overall, she did a good job and most importantly, got me results I was hoping for. Not only did she get my charge dropped from a Class A Misdemeanor to a Class C Misdemeanor, she lowered many other aspects of the sentencing, like fees and fines, classes, community service, etc. I have to say she got good results where it mattered most, the sentencing aspect. She is still young and has plenty of time to develop and grow and I believe will become an even better lawyer as experience accumulates on her record.
