He helped explain the process of appeal to me during consultation and then represented me. My husband and I recently built a house, which was a nightmare situation. Our builder and the finance people basically locked us in to a bad contract which was costing us tens of thousands of extra dollars in hidden fees. After careful research about the building process, consults with other lawyers ...and a few headaches...we had a meeting with Mr. Politakis and decided to hire him to help us. My husband and I both agreed that he was professional and knowledgeable but also had a sense of humor which we loved (because we needed to laugh to keep from crying) all while breaking down the legal issues in layman terms. He was able to look at previous cases with this builder and find a loophole in the contract that no one else found. He also found some issues with the title and land that helped us escape a ridiculous amount of paperwork, court/transfer fees, etc. In the end, our case built by Mr. Politakis was strong enough that they had to refund our construction deposit and we exited the contractual obligation with no penalties. We are extremely thankful for all of his help and knowledge. We’re also impressed by the level of communication, fast response to calls and emails, which normally doesn’t happen when using big law firms. Had he not been so persistent and reviewed every piece of information we gave him, who knows where we would be financially. Take it from us, this was the best decision we could have made.
