Angela Marie Jones

I was born and raised in “The Region;” my family has been a part of this area for more than 100 years. Simply put, this is my home and these are my people. Being raised by two very hard-working parents and in a family of 7 competitive siblings, I was born a fighter. From a young age I developed a passion for fighting for "the right thing" and providing a voice for those who needed it. In order to do so, I needed a platform and some credibility; therefore, I concentrated on my education.

I graduated from Munster High School and went on to attend the Honors Program at the University of Colorado (Boulder). I graduated from the University of Central Florida with dual degrees in Business Management and Criminal Justice. After graduating, I worked for Liberty Mutual as a Bodily Injury Adjuster for several years before attending law school. In law school, I competed with the number one trial advocacy team in the country and was recognized for my advocacy skills in regular competitions. I graduated from Stetson University College of Law with my JD/MBA.

I began my legal career working for large-scale insurance defense firms. In other words, I worked for insurance companies and against people. At least that’s what it felt like to me. I quickly realized I was betraying the younger version of myself, the foundation for who I am, the “fight for those without a voice” passion I had. So, I learned all I could about insurance companies' practices, how they think and operate, and then I opened this firm to elevate myself and open my expertise to my people of The Region.
