Robert Harold Sorge

Personal and Education: Born and raised in Hammond, Indiana. Robert H. Sorge attended Clark High School but graduated from Lowell High School. He later attended Purdue University/ Calumet Graduating with Highest Distinction in 1986. he then attended Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana graduating cum laude in 1989. Robert later returned to his alma mater at Purdue in Hammond where he guest-lectured in the area of Government and politics for nearly 18 years. He has been married to his wife Denise Sorge for over 30 years and has one son Aaron. Aaron also works in the office. Professional: Licensed to practice law in Illinois in 1989, Robert was recruited by a 100 year-old major Insurance defense firm in Chicago, Illinois representing clients such as CNA Insurance and Lloyd's of London. After becoming licensed in Indiana in 1994, Robert opened the current law firm in Hammond, Indiana where along with several associate attorneys the firm has primarily - but not exclusively - represented hundreds of landlord and other land owners in the purchase, exchange, operation and management of their real estate interests focusing in a vibrant eviction practice. The firm has taken pride in handling clients on a personal and friendly basis and providing quality service at reasonable prices. In handling our clients land concerns we also often advise and assist our clients on a wide variety of related and sometimes unrelated issues including disputes with municipalities, creation of business entities, estate matters including the creation of living trusts, wills, powers of attorney and even criminal matters.
