Before I get into my story, I want to express my tremendous respect and appreciation for Terri right at the beginning. She was a true professional, a courageous fighter and completely empathetic towards the situation my family was thrust into. My ex-wife, who was awarded the home in our divorce, ha...d failed to abide by our divorce decree and refinance the home which was solely in my name. Furthermore, unbeknownst to me, she had failed to pay the mortgage for 6 months which resulted in the home going into foreclosure. Last, but certainly not least, the home was left in horrific condition and ultimately abandoned. I was left with a monumental amount of debt, a mortgage company that had filed suit against me and was staring down a foreclosure for a home I didn’t want and was in need of major repairs. The icing on the cake was that my family and I got to begin this adventure right as we were nearing Christmas. Needless to say, I was panicking. My wife happened to came across Terri's name on AVVO and, given her specialty, I decided to call. Terri spent nearly 45 minutes on the phone with me that day. Hearing the compassion in her voice led to an in-person meeting and from that point, I knew she was the right choice. Not only did Terri successfully take on the mortgage company, she also fought tirelessly to rectify the wrongdoings and damages done by my ex-wife. The latter was ultimately the hardest and most stressful part of the process. Yet, through all of the blood pressure raising situations, Terri never backed down. She never waived a white flag. She fought until things were made right. My family is so thankful that we had Terri in our corner. I honestly don't know if anyone else could have handled the many unique and difficult challenges we faced, nor would have had the patience to stick through the copious amount of craziness we dealt with week in and week out. The aforementioned empathy shined throughout the process. I felt that Terri took my case to heart and made it very personal. I honestly cannot thank her enough. I highly recommend her.

My case started when my son was 5 years old. I won the case but the father kept appealing the case and not paying support. This went on till my son was 18 years old. Terri took my case and was a blessing. It was a long case but in the end we won the case and I got back all my child support that was d...ue to me. If I needed any more legal help again Terri will be there for me.

I had a referral from a friend to see Terry for a pretty dramatic and abrupt end of a mess of an 18 year marriage. I experienced her to be quite friendly but also expedient regarding gathering all the facts of the case. As the case went on and as our rapport grew, I found her to truly care and she ju...st refused to allow the facts of the case to be misrepresented. She was very open to gathering all the needed story-she heard me out completely. Our case eventually went to settlement where she then was compassionate about the end of my marriage which still has some very real love left in it. But alas the co-dependence had to stop; we were growing in different directions and ended up pulling each other apart rather than having a mutually respectful partnership. I say all this to highlight that Terry was 100% committed all the way through. I don't know how I would have gotten through without her. So many other lawyers were sterile and jaded. Having a background as a court advocate really shone through till the end. She was very diligent and knowledgeable, but by far the greatest asset I found in her was the fact that she really cared. I highly recommend her.

Terri was very knowledgeable when handling my military divorce, she made sure I received everything financially that I wanted and deserved, as well as possessions. She made everything as least stressful as possible and was very patient when dealing with my divorce. She was even able to set up a sett...lement conference to avoid going to court. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants someone who is knowledgeable and knows what she is dealing with, and that each case is different. I felt as though she personally cared about getting me, my fair share throughout the whole process. I am very satisfied with how my divorce process went, and I truly have Terri to thank for that.
