I have been repeatedly selected by his peers for inclusion in both The Best Lawyers in America and Indiana Super Lawyers since 2007 in the field of Family Law, and I am Family Law Mediator in the State of Indiana.

I have been and continues to be a presenter and chairman of numerous continuing legal education seminars in the area of family law, and am recognized by both judges and other lawyers for his leadership in improving the quality of legal services which are provided to families in Northwest Indiana.

RANGE OF EXPERIENCE
Trial experience includes serving as lead counsel from initial intake to judgment in numerous jury and bench trials, including predominantly contested family law cases; expert testimony on substantive areas of family law; retained by other attorneys to prepare qualified domestic relations orders and on family law related issues in bankruptcy court; consultation with other attorneys in family law cases at both state and federal trial and appellate levels; prosecution and defense of appellate proceedings, including oral argument before the Indiana Supreme Court; former Court Coordinator and Temporary Judge Lake Circuit Court conducting pre-trial conferences, developing and implementing case-flow management and docket control systems, developing and implementing modifications to local practices to satisfy requirements of federally and state mandated operational guidelines and record keeping systems; former public defender in Gary City and Lake County Courts; and, former Assistant Lake County Attorney.
