Not the best lawyer. I was referred to him through my employee assistance help line. He was retained for a paternity case and a restraining order against the biological father of my child. He did not copy me on any correspondence that he sent to the opposing counsel regarding my case, so I cannot b...e confident that that correspondence took place. He made agreements, on my behalf, with the opposing counsel, and did not fully explain it to me. So unbeknownst to me, I had agreed to these items in court. God willing, I had decided to educate myself on all of the issues that I was facing in court, yet when I questioned him about anything, he became short with me and cut me off and treated my case as if were a "cookie cutter" case. Finally, my gut told me that I needed to find and retain a lawyer that would hear my story and reasons why I had concerns for my child's wellbeing, and I was blessed to obtain other counsel that has done just that. While it can be perceived that the courts have and are continuing to work in my favor, that is only because I have such a great case with much evidence that the opposing party does not have much of a leg to stand on. Currently, I was "low balked" with "temporary" child support, yet the court document states that this was done "in accordance with the child support guidelines" and further explains that the worksheet was attached. I never saw that worksheet. I would not recommend him to represent you in a family law case, unless you want the wool pulled over your eyes.
