When you file for bankruptcy you do have to disclose all of your assets whether placed in the bank accounts or not. The exemption for cash checking...

You may have been taken advantage of, so instead of giving in on being sued, you may have a case on suing the repair shop. See your local attorney.

I agree with Mr. Clapper. Definitely don't add him to your bank account - separate bank accounts is a great precaution in this scenario.

It's quiet the opposite. It means asking the court to NOT garnish you.
