Helpful even though he wasn't my lawyer

He represented my ex, and I am still recommending him. He was helpful and fair, and understanding that I didn't have my own lawyer

Decent and Honest

Given how complex my case was I think Nicholas did what he could for how he prioritized how important my case was to him. I feel he could have been way more aggressive when it came to defending me not so nice and agreeable with the opposing parties suggestions on solutions but he was an okay lawyer. ...I feel like I had other options available to me And I could have got an even better outcome than what I got when it comes to the opposing party getting off scott free for some of the things he was doing I felt like Nicholas could have fought harder or more aggressively to make sure that the opposing parties outcome would have been a harder judgment than it was I think with time and more experience he potentially could be an amazing attorney, He was always very calm and he did listen and respond to emails which was one of the biggest issues with the two lawyers I had before him. But in the end I did get custody of my daughter which Was the end goal but he could have been more aggressive when it came to defending me it sort of felt like a big boys club me being the only woman sometimes I felt like I was not being defended, But compared to My two previous attorneys Lyndon Small and Shana Paula, Nicholas was decent and honest, would I recommend him yeah I would I think he has a lot of potential But maybe not for a complex cases perhaps later once he has a few more years of experience. But I can tell he's a good person

No good "attorney"

I lost my kids little by little ever since he took my case. I had full custody of my kids and ended up with 3 hour a week visitation. He resigned my case a couple weeks before my court date without letting me know and left me with a debt of 10,000$. Complete waste of time and money for absolutely no...thing accomplished.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
