Best attorney ever!

I have written several reviews about Terry, but he has helped me tremendously and I cannot thank him enough. One time years ago I had to go to traffic court for suspended license and expired registration. I knew that they were going to make an example out of me. In court, I see Terry. I offered him $...200 to represent me. I give him the ticket, and he asks me if I see the cop. He heads to where the cops wait. I didn't see Terry anymore. The judge calls out my name, I stand in front of him. He looks at me and says, "you're free to leave". I was shocked! I got out of their in a hurry, before I could thank Terry. Terry is smart and knows the system well. I still can't believe how he handled that so well, on the fly. Thanks Terry!

The best attorney

Mr. Kirby is the best every. He includes you in on whatever the process is. He's very knowledgeable. If it's something that he don't know he will tell you,he don't pretend to have answer to everything. He has the best attitude.I recommended all my friends and family to him.

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2002.

Public Reprimand issued in IN, 2002

updated on 01/31/2020

A reprimand means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The State gives the lawyer a public reprimand in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior. Details of the infraction are made part of the public record.

Terrence’s comment:

“There was a bitter dispute with a chiropractor over his inflated billing.”

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline
This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2002
Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
