Hugh Garland Baker Jr.

Hugh "Red" Baker helped to create my first incorporation, handled my company's legal business, and was a board member in 1973. This would not be his first and only entrance into the music industry experience. Although his primary expertise is in criminal law, he and his then partner Ronald Timmons ...handled my first divorce in 1977 and, subsequent child custody suite almost ten years later. I was thrilled beyond my wildest expectations to become one of Indiana's first successful, out of state, non-resident fathers to obtain custody during a time the state invariably sided with the mother. Years later, when I needed a criminal attorney for a severe traffic violation that put me in Marion County Jail (more than once,) Hugh became involved for a reduced fee (I know Hugh...not supposed to mention that fact.) Mr. Baker's mere presence on the case expedited me from incarceration and put me on the path to recovery. I owe this man more than I will ever be able to repay, in this lifetime. Hugh is strict, fair, incredibly knowledgeable of the law, and worth any fee, although from me he sometimes only received promises. Only money considerations prevented my retaining his office in recent years, in another matter. I wholly recommend his services. He is worth every dollar you may invest.
