I was going through a divorce. I had given my attorney evidence of my husband’s 2nd university job he was hiding during our divorce, I even had an advocate with me the day I handed it to him in his office. He had the evidence in his hand and told me that would make my child support go up. When we wer...e finally in court for our final hearing, I reminded him of my husband’s 2nd university job, and Mr. Harshman asked me where my evidence was. He failed to bring the evidence I gave him, so child support and debts were divided incorrectly. And he told me he was going to put a QDRO in place for my marital asset, and he never did it. I have received absolutely nothing that I was suppose to get and now I have nothing while my ex husband has pensions, very high paying university jobs. I’m on Medicaid and I lost my car and I do all the caretaking of my child. After our court hearing I was asking him questions about my decree that made no sense and he would not answer most of my questions. He told me that it was good enough. I was not represented well and it cost me everything. Imagine being the sole caretaker and your ex walks away with everything and you get nothing. That’s what happened to me.

I hired Mr. Harshman to represent me after he pursed me. Unfortunately, I failed to thoroughly research his credentials prior to hiring him. He was never engaged in my case, never followed through with details of his plans to represent me. When he failed to notify me of a court date, I fired him imme...diately!!!!!!!!!!!!!
