My name is Sean Hessler, and I'm an Indianapolis criminal defense lawyer focused on protecting my clients' rights and defending their freedom. I'm originally from Indiana, and I attended Monmouth University for college and Indiana University for law school. I always knew I wanted to work and live in Indianapolis, where I felt like I could do the most with criminal defense.
After law school, I spent several years as a deputy prosecutor in Marion County, where I had the opportunity to see how the State handles criminal cases. Many of my cases focused on gang violence and drug crimes. I left my role as a prosecutor because I wanted to help people who have been wrongfully accused of crimes, as well as people whose rights are at stake.
