Judy Hester represented me in a divorce settlement. She convinced me that a 60/40 split of assets, favoring the woman with 60% of the marital estate, was the norm in Indiana. She also convinced me that it is perfectly normal to give half of one’s pension in a QDRO as part of the settlement. I learned... later that these two statements are both false, but it was too late by then. My ex-wife will get a sizeable portion of my pension income for the rest of my life.
