In prior years, he has been involved in several important appellate cases, including Carr v. Allison Gas Turbine, General Motors Corporation, where the defense verdict from the bench trial was reversed and judgment entered for the sexual harassment plaintiff by the Court of Appeals. Another case was Lehman v. Yellow Freight, where the plaintiff's reverse race discrimination trial verdict was upheld. Mr. Haskin has also handled an age discrimination jury trial, McKelvey v. American Legion.
Mr. Haskin incorporated the Indiana Veterans Service Officers Association as a non-profit corporation and provides counsel to this organization. He has been appointed to the position of Legal Deputy for over 24 years, by two different Sheriff’s, and has been a presenter at the Masters level continuing legal education for over 10 years.
