Jenna Lea Heavner

I focus my practice on assisting families and children in conflict by being a compassionate advocate, committed to serving and advancing client needs with a comprehensive approach to the practice of law. Having served as Court-appointed Guardian ad Litem for children for many years, I have extensive experience protecting and advocating for the best interests of children and creatively reaching the most optimal results possible for families in conflict. I practice a full range of family law matters and estate planning, and I am equipped to handle complex cases both in and out of the courtroom.

Prior to joining the family law division at Mallor Grodner LLP, I worked exclusively as a child advocate and attorney for Kids’ Voice of Indiana. I credit her experience working at Kids’ Voice as giving me a unique approach and perspective of child-related issues within the practice of law. Since entering private practice, I have expanded my areas of expertise by assisting clients with a broad range of legal issues, regardless of whether children are involved, including separation and divorce, asset division and distribution, guardianship, adoption, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, protective orders, and other issues affecting families. I have continued to serve and accept appointments as a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem for children.

I understand and appreciate that clients want an attorney who is knowledgeable and skilled at obtaining the best results possible within a highly contentious environment. However, I also understand that clients want an attorney who listens and responds to clients quickly, and who does so as efficiently as possible. With this in mind, I strive to be attentive to clients’ needs and provide the most superior legal services available.
